1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy governs every administrator, owner, employee, contractor, and other user of Guest2Owner Professional Edition. Users must use the platform lawfully, honestly, securely, and in a manner that does not harm guests, owners, service providers, Licensor, or the public.

2. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not use the platform to commit, facilitate, promote, conceal, or attempt unlawful activity; fraud; identity theft; deceptive listings; false availability; unauthorized charges; chargeback abuse; tax evasion; discrimination; harassment; threats; exploitation; trafficking; or violations of consumer-protection, housing, lodging, privacy, accessibility, or telecommunications laws.

3. Messaging and Communications

Users may send email, SMS, voice, and automated messages only to recipients for whom they have a lawful basis and any consent required by law or provider policy. Users may not send spam, misleading caller identification, prohibited content, excessive messages, purchased-list campaigns, or communications after an applicable opt-out. Users must honor STOP, unsubscribe, revocation, quiet-hour, do-not-call, and similar requirements.

4. Security and Technical Abuse

Users may not introduce malware, ransomware, spyware, destructive code, credential-stealing tools, or malicious files; probe or exploit vulnerabilities; bypass access controls; access another user's data without authorization; interfere with service; launch denial-of-service attacks; scrape or harvest data without written authorization; overload resources; defeat rate limits; or use bots and automation in a manner that harms the platform or others.

5. Data and Privacy Abuse

Users may not collect, disclose, sell, publish, or misuse personal information beyond legitimate rental operations and applicable disclosures. Users must not upload unlawfully obtained data, highly sensitive information that is unnecessary for the service, or content that violates confidentiality or privacy rights.

6. Content and Listings

Listings, photographs, descriptions, rates, policies, reviews, documents, and messages must be accurate and rights-cleared. Users may not impersonate others; misrepresent ownership, authority, amenities, location, safety, licensing, or availability; infringe intellectual-property rights; or publish obscene, hateful, exploitative, defamatory, or dangerous content.

7. Payments and Financial Misuse

Users may not process sham transactions, launder money, evade provider controls, misuse payment credentials, split transactions to avoid limits, manipulate refunds, retain funds unlawfully, or use the platform for prohibited goods or services. Users must comply with payment-provider rules and accurately communicate charges, deposits, taxes, refunds, and cancellation terms.

8. Account and Platform Integrity

Users may not share accounts with unauthorized persons, create accounts under false identities, resell access without authorization, remove platform notices, circumvent licensing, or use the service to develop or operate a competing product through unauthorized copying or systematic extraction.

9. Enforcement

Guest2Owner may investigate suspected violations; preserve evidence; limit functionality; remove content; suspend or terminate accounts; block traffic; notify affected parties or providers; and report conduct to authorities when appropriate. Enforcement may occur without advance notice where necessary to address legal, security, financial, or operational risk. Users are responsible for violations committed through their accounts.

10. Reporting

Report suspected violations promptly to support@example.com. Do not publicly disclose security vulnerabilities before Guest2Owner has a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate them.
